The fifth edition of iTEG has just ended, an event for Italian Food and Wine Tourism of the highest level in which, as the Municipality of Pulsano, we had the honor of participating in the Excellence category, presenting our De.Co. products to international Tourist Buyers and Journalists in the sector.
They were two intense days of authentic flavors, our land was told through the tastings of the "Fagiolo Rosso Paesano" reworked by Chef Prof. Benedetto Di Punzio of the Hotel Institute of Pulsano, of the "Puccia alla Tajedda" prepared by the expert hands of an artisan custodian of the artisan recipe, of the "Scaunisco" a simple biscuit but at the same time full of intense flavors produced by the Falco Pastry Shop of Pulsano and finally with the "Fagiolo Bianco per la Signura" grown in the Agricultural Company of Mr. Amedeo D'Oronzo and masterfully used for the creation of a delicate and exquisite ice cream by the Falco Pastry Shop of Pulsano.
Not only pleasures for the palate but a sensory journey into the heart of our territory, our memories, traditions and identity presenting the culture and soul of those who have cultivated, worked and transformed these products mirror of a territory capable of welcoming, exciting and being remembered.
Pulsano with its village and its coast, which has just won the prestigious Blue Flag, is a heritage to be experienced.
Through flavors we give voice to places and stories to make them known to tourists and to increase the value of our community.
The activity of the Municipal Administration led by Mayor Pietro D'Alfonso, and in particular for this event the commitment of the Department of Culture, Tourism and Agriculture, measures the passion with which we want to enhance our land.
