Pulsano boasts a rich calendar of religious rites and festivities throughout the year, deeply rooted in tradition and popular devotion. These events are significant moments of community gathering and attract substantial tourist flows.

The Holy Week is particularly significant, featuring rites that reflect the deep faith of the people of Pulsano and their connection to their Christian roots. Among these, the Church of Purgatory stands out as the center of the Easter rites, where statues of saints are carried in procession through the town's streets. The feast of the Madonna of Lourdes, celebrated on February 11, sees the Mother Church of S. Maria La Nova becoming a place of diocesan pilgrimage, commemorating the Marian apparition in Lourdes.

The cult of the Madonna of Carmel is expressed through the veneration of the Most Holy Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel. The feast of the Madonna of the Assumption on August 15 is a major celebration for Pulsano, featuring a distinctive sea procession in Montedarena. This unique event combines faith and maritime tradition, celebrating the Madonna's protection over sailors and coastal communities. The patronal feast of Saint Trifone Martyr celebrates the patron saint of Pulsano and is a highlight event for the community.
