The procession faithfully recreates that solemn entry, featuring heralds, flag-wavers, drummers, and jugglers, alongside the entourages of neighboring fiefdoms that have arrived to pay homage to the sovereigns.
The square comes alive with ladies, knights, pages, and men-at-arms, while the small courts of the local districts and the noble guests display richly decorated period costumes.
